I am looking for information on my great-grandfather Samuel J. Stanton. Below is what I know about him; what I want to know is information prior to his arrival in US (his parents, grandparents, ets.), and his date of death. No one is alive that can tell me when he died.
What I know--

1. He was born abt. 1873 in England and, I believe, came to America in 1883 through Philadelphia. Mary J. Stanton might be his mother. She was 26 when they arrived, making her 16 when she gave birth to Samuel. She is just listed as wife on the manifest, though whose wife is unclear. Also, listed on the manifest are Mary E. Stanton, age 2; Eliza A. Stanton, age 4; Richard Stanton, infant.

2. 1900 Census--Samuel lived with his grandmother Susanah Stanton, age 66, widowed from England, and his brother James in Clearfield, PA.

3. 1910 Census--Lived in Rayne, PA with his wife Hannah (nee Daniels, children Fredric and Martha (my grandmother), and his brother James

4. 1920 Census--Lived in Clearfield with wife and children with the addition of son John.

5. 1930 Census--Lived in Tonawanda, NY with wife, son John, daughter Martha, and his grandchildren from Martha, Dorothy and James Archibald (my father).
