I'm trying to find information about WILLIAM STANHOPE & his wife ANNIE STANHOPE.

Annie was born ANNIE JONES, c. 1844, Seacombe, Wallasey and married JOHN JOHNSON PEMBERTON at St Nicholas' Church, Liverpool 11 Aug.1862.

John died in 1869 & their 2 daughters, Clara Louisa & Eleanor Johnson Pemberton were brought up by their grandmother MARGARET MILLINGTON.

I can't find what happened next to Annie but she's buried as ANNIE STANHOPE at Rake Lane Cemetery, Wallasey with her daughter Clara Louisa (Rowbottom).
She died 26 June 1896 at 51 Mersey St., Seacombe.

Her death certificate says her husband is WILLIAM STANHOPE, a labourer.

I can't find a marriage or any census record for them.
I've found a William Stanhope, labourer, b. Seacombe, at the Birkenhead Workhouse in the 1901 census which could be him although it says married not widowed.

Any more information would be appreciated.
