I am not closely related to the Stanhope family. My husband is a great-great grandson of Thomas Milligan Kirkpatrick, a brother of Alena Pearl Kirkpatrick.
It is: Thomas to Irenious Roscoe, to Orville, to James P. to my husband John P. Kirkpatrick.
We show George Leroy Stanhope born 1905 in Iowa and died 6 August 1941 at Alamogrodo, Otero Co., New Mexico. His wife was Clara and they had a daughter named Carmen G. Carmen was born June 1929 in Texas. That is all I have found using the 1930 Census and the New Mexico Death Index.
