I have an original 8" x 3" photograph of “Emily Elizabeth Stanhope - age 1 year” which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in Peoria (Peoria Co.) IL and is typical of photos taken in about 1920.

I found Emily E. Stanhope in the 1920 census for Peoria (Peoria) IL, shown as age 2, daughter of Herman A. and Edna L. Stanhope. In 1930 in Cazenovia (Woodford Co.) IL, Herman was 52, Edna 45, "Elizabeth" was 12. In 1940, she still lived with parents and was "Betty", age 21.

Ancestry Public Member Tree shows that her father Herman Alfred Stanhope was born December 1877 and died Woodford Co., IL in 1954 and that Edna's maiden name was Godel. "Betty E." Stanhope married Raymond Wurster in Nov 1940, and she died in Pekin (Tazewell Co.) IL in Aug 2008. Find-A-Grave shows her obituary, and that she was buried in Woodford Co., IL.
