I am researching my Lowton ancesters and have come across a posting on family trees of a Stanhope /Lawton family with a Robert Lowton, James Lowton and Mary Golding if any one can help with this I would be interested as I have a Robert Lowton in my family and at the moment am having trouble tracing his father. I have 2 Robert Lowtons baptised the same day at Standish 6th June 1800 one with parents James and Mary and one wiyh parents Thomas and Catherine Thanks
