Although my Staacks are all in Chicago, I kept running across Julius Staack in the Illinois records. So I began a tree on the Staacks of Rock Island County. The entry for the immigrant Julius is at http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/16653232/person/404621045

Julius and his wife Anna were from Schleswig-Holstein, not the Pommern/Prussia of the Chicago Staacks who were all in the church records of Spantekow.

The earliest record I have found for them is the 1880 Census, although in 1900, they stated that they arrived in the US in 1867. The 1900 Census is the first to show their address: 2702 6th Avenue.

Julius & Anna's son Henry shows 2608 6th Avenue in his 1918 WWI draft registration as the home of he and his wife Alma. In 1930, the widowed Henry & his daughter Jeanette are at 628 26th Ave.

The yongest son of Julius & Anna, John Julius, lived at 626 26th in 1918 but at 2608 6th Ave in 1930. In 1930, 626 26th Ave was the home of Everett Bell.

In 1920, both Henry and John Julius' families were at 626 26th.
