Hi,
I am looking for the parents of this Joseph St. Pierre. He supposedly got married to Laura Gravel, possibly between 1945 and 1960. It is possible though, that they were never actually married. They had a daughter, Lise St. Pierre, in 1960. Lise was baptized shortly after her birth, in St-Charles-de-Limoilou, QC. So, for this reason, if there was a marriage between Joseph and Laura, we assume that it most likely took place in or near Limoilou. We have the name of Joseph's father, Napoleon St. Pierre, but we don't know who his mother was. We have also heard that Joseph had a brother named Maurice St. Pierre.
Joseph lived in the Limoilou area for at least part of his life. He worked for a while for the Vachon bakery company. He also was a salesman for Ben Weider products for a while. We do have some pictures of Joseph St. Pierre. Apparently, Joseph moved to St. Jacques, New Brunswick around 1961 or so, then they went back to Limoilou, QC for a little bit, then Laura came back to St. Jacques, NB on her own. We believe that maybe Joseph came back to see his daughter Lise every so often, when she was young. We think he may have died of a car accident, but that may not be true.
Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated. We are going to Quebec City this Wednesday to do research, and we don't know where to start!
Thanks in advance!
