DONALD ST. CHARLES
Donald Bradford St. Charles, 82, died of natural causes March 2, 2007, in Banning. He resided in Banning for one year. He was born August 18, 1924, in Kingman, Ariz. He also resided in Victorville/Apple Valley for 40 years.
Donald was a retired lawyer. He attended Los Angeles City College, USC where he obtained an engineering degree, and South Western College, where he obtained a law degree. He was in General Patton’s division in World War II where he fought in the “Battle of the Bulge.” He was the president of the Rotary Club of Apple Valley, president and on the board of Apple Valley Country Club, on the board of the Victor Valley Bar Association, on the board for the Victor Valley Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Hi Desert Church of Religious Science where he served on the board of directors and served a term as president.
Donald is survived by his wife, Susan St. Charles of Los Angeles; son Leland St. Charles of San Francisco; brother Kean St. Charles of Rancho Mirage and brother Dale St. Charles of Temecula.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Hi Desert Church of Religious Science, 18575 Corwin Road, Apple Valley, CA, 92307, with Rev. Antoinette Tibbs officiating.
