Charlotte,
I am sorry to say you are a bit misinformed(Unless I am)-E. Canada is Ontario not Quebec. Lower Canada is Quebec & Upper Canada is Southwestern Ontario.
Mosses was in E.Canada from birth in 1820 to possibly 1849.
Mathilda was b. in Detroit ,Mich. All her children were b. in Wis.. Isaac Marr. in Wis. if memory serves me correct.
Have checked all Wis. Vitals, LDS records,Tanquay,Jette& Loiselle to no avale. Cannot connect any other St Antoines with us as have no idea where in E. Canada was born & no idea who parents or additional siblings were. Many of their dates were to early or to late, & from other states etc.. Running blind here. Any other help would be much appreciated. Thank you so much. Kathy Fuhrman

From 25 years of experience I am confident about Canada Est or Canada East and Bas Canada or Lower Canada as all being terms for Quebec as well as Canada Ouest or Canada West and Haute Canada or Upper Canada being terms for Ontario. Now as to why you are having problems, have you considered a dit name situation? St. Antoine is probably not the original surname. Loiselle has indexed families by the main surname with all the dits, but also has some members of the same families under the dit names. If you have easy access to Tanguay, the appendix to Volume Seven has a lot of dits as of the period he includes. You don't mention Dennisson volumes, French Canadians of the Detroit River Region - not sure I have the exact name right. Have you used it for her research? Did their marriage take place in Detroit or do you have it at all? Let me know and perhaps there is something I can help with.
