Perhaps you didn't see my second posting..my apologies, but after I responded, I remembered that I have a copy of a letter dated 1985 written by Albert Lee Srite who was 71/72 at the time. In it, he indicates that his father was Albert Clay Srite who was killed in a hunting accident in 1916. He relates that he was only about 3 1/2 years old at the time. He indicates that he had 2 older sisters and 2 younger sisters.
He indicates that his grandfather was also named Albert Srite and that he died when the writer of the letter was about 24 years old in 1937.
He continues with family traditions regarding our first immigrant ancestors. If you have not seen this letter and would like this information, please let me know and I will be happy to transcribe it in its entirety and e-mail it to you.
