Trying to find their parents.

Here's what I know:

Mary Ross was born in New Jersey circa 1796 per the 1850 (Franklin Township, Morrow County, Ohio) and 1860 (Jefferson Township, Noble County, Indiana) census. Moses may have been a veteran of the War of 1812 and died before the 1850 census, probably in Morrow County, Ohio.

They had three children:

1. Anna. Married Simeon DeCamp.

2. Thomas. Married Anna DeCamp.

Obituary: Squier, Anna (DeCamp), died at her home west of town on April 7, 1891 of congestion following the grip. Her age was 69 years, 67 months and 28 days. She was born in Washington County, Penn.; was married to Thomas Squier in Ohio July 25, 1845. They came to Noble County in 1854. She leaves her husband and 3 children. Funeral at the house. Burial, Albion Cemetery. She was one of the oldest residents of Albion. Noble Co Democrat 4-15-1891.

3. Mary Jane, born May 11, 1829 in Washington County, Penn. Married Captain Oliver McMahan.

Name: McMahan, Mary J. Age: 71y 5m 3d. Date of death: 09-14-1900. Father's name: Squier, Moses. Mother's name: Ross, Mary. Book-page number: A-2.

Obituary:

Mary J. McMahan died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Cook, in this city October 14, 1900, aged 71 years, 5 months and 3 days. Mary Jane Squier was born in Washington, Pennsylvania, May 11, 1829 and removed with her parents to Chesterville, Ohio, when one year of age. When a young lady she came to Albion. For a number of years she was a teacher in the schools of this county. She married Oliver McMahan August 15, 1856, and became his widow November 15, 1862, he dying in the War of the Rebellion. She was a member of the M. E. Church. She was the mother of one daughter, Mrs. Frank Cook of Albion, and one son, C. W. McMahan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral was at the home of her daughter. Burial, Albion Cemetery. ~ Albion Democrat, 18 Oct 1900.
