Growing up I didn't know much about this side of my Family. My mother divorced my father when I was one and only spoke of my Grandmother. I am interested in looking for My Grandfatherwas James Jackson, and other family grave site as well as living family. I do know my Grandfather lived in St. Louis, Mo at the time of his death he sold tamales on the streets and was robbed and killed. My Father Carl Thomas Jackson was young when this happened.
My Grandmother name was Nellie Sprouse and remarried taking the name Lavine the spelling on this could be inccorrect and I have been told she died around 1961, but that I am not sure of. Their children were Walter, Carl, Wanda(married name Ragsdale), Eddie, Clifford, Etta (married name Calhoun), and one they called T Jackson not sure of his first name.
I have been told that my Grandparents are buried somewhere in St Louis, Missouri, but I can't seem to find out where. I sure would appreciate any help with this search it is very important to me.
