Cattle King James Speed Murdered
San Antonio, Texas, April 11 - James Speed, one of the wealthiest cattlemen of Southwest Texas, was shot and killed this evening by John Tomerlin at Moore Station, about six miles south of here, on the International and Great Northern road. No particulars of the affair are attainable at this hour. The dead man was a brother of President Lincoln's Attorney-General.
