In the 1860 census of Berkshire Co., MA (p. 341), there's an Andrew O. SPEED (æ 27, b. NY) with wife Anjanette (æ 19, b. MA) and two children: Georgiana SPEED (æ 5, b. MA) and Edmund SPEED (æ 1, b. NY). In later censuses, Anjanette is Janette and son Edmund is Edward SPEED (b. Jul 1859). By the 1870 census, Andrew has apparently died because Anjanette has remarried to James EDICK and is living in Herkimer Co., NY.
