I ordered and received the original social security application on my uncle Hardy Sparkman. He listed his parents as Hardy Sparkman and Nettie Ashlock. He was born in Carrollton, Dallas County, Texas on Oct. 12, 1893. He died in 1966. I found a listing in the 1900 census from Denton County, Texas, which listed a Nettie Sparkman, sons Hardie age 6, and Harrel R. age 4 living with Marshall and Serrah Smith. Nettie was listed as a widow, and was stated to be a daughter. Does anyone have anymore information on these people? I know there were several Hardy Sparkman's in Texas Census' and I'm going back to the library to find and make copies of them for my records. Does any have a clue as to who these Sparkman's link to?

Am also looking for information on the following Sparkman's buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Dallas, Texas:
