John Ed Clarke (graduate of SMU) is still alive and well in Garland, Tx. He is the son of Theresa Bowling Clarke, the 3rd sister who is younger than Mary Lee Bowling Clark and older than Ruth Bowling Nichols of Jacksonville, Tx.
In fact Ruth Bowling Nichols will be 100 years of age as of Oct. 8 2014. We are having a great celebration with both the Bowling and Nichols side of the family.
Oh yes, Mary Lee Bowling Clark had one son by the name of George Henry Clark in Houston, Tx.

Please note that Clark and Clarke are spelt differently. John Ed Clarke's father was originally from Australia, so, the sir name is different.

I too am interested in the Gribble, Sparkman and Bowling lineage.
