I have an original snapshot photo of “Merlin” James M. Searcy with wife and his parents (including Effie Sparkman), taken in about 1935 which I would like to get back to family. Photo of James and his young wife and his parents was surely taken in Hood Co., TX, where parents and son are shown in 1920 and 1930 censuses.

I found James Merlin Searcy in Find A Grave which gives birth 22 Sep 1912, death in 1986, and that his wife was Lucille (1914-2000). His parents were Lee E. Searcy and Effie Virginia (Sparkman) Searcy. On the back of the snapshot is “Mr. and Mrs. Lee Searcy and Merlin and his wife - he married a Cresson girl”. Cresson is in Hood County.
