Ken I have some information on Elizabeth Sparkman-Hamilton.
She was the daughter of William Greasy Bill Sparkman. I have her as one of two daughters while he was married to Jerusha Yearly from Bertie County of North Carolina. This was a second marriage. I think his first was to a Drullia Harris. I can't seem to find anything about either women's death. According to the 1850 census for William Sparkman he was 60 and married to Jerusha who was 50 at this time there are 6 children raging from the age of 23-13. Then Mary Sparkman age 10 and Elizabeth Sparkman age 7. She was my grandmother and she married a William Martin Hamilton and lived and died in Matewan WV. And Mary [Polly] married a Jacob and lived in Buskirk KY.
Please get back to me. Even if you have no information. I do so want to find out about Jerusha as she would be my greatgrandmother.
