Looking for information on my ancestor Simon B. Spangler who was born in Fairfield Co., Ohio about 1833. Appears in the 1850 US Census in Greenfield, Fairfield, Ohio with Mother Catherine.

Simon served in 54th Ohio Infantry during Civil War and was a prisoner at Andersonville Prison in GA. Married Selina Earlywine and lived in Hancock Co., Ohio during 1860 US Census.
