This is the info from my husband's family.
We have traced our family back to Grindle, Switzerland. Franz Peter Spaar Jr. emigrated to America in the early 1800's (he was born in May 25, 1798). He was one of eleven children fathered by Franz Peter Spaar Sr. of Grindle and Elizabeth (Huegli) Spaar from Brislach. Franz Peter died in 1872 in Bally, Pennsylvania which is close to Reading, Pennsylvania, where my family was raised
