Looking for any information about the death of Oscar Southern in November of 1916. (Franklyn County Alabama) I do know he was shot and killed by Oscar Prince. My Great Uncle and they were cousin's. Story goes it was over a women and it was in self defense.

Oscar Prince was indicted for murder in November of 1916. If he went to trial I can find no record of it. He left home sometime after the killing. Wrote some letters home and then was never heard from again.
