Help!!!!
I have been looking for any information on my Great Grandfather, Thomas (or James) Marvin Southern (born Bet.1832-1874; died Bet. 1871-1922). He was married to Willie May Wylder (or Willa Mae Wilder) Bet. 1839-1877 in Texas. Their children were Floyd, Marvin, Thomas, Della, Willa, Edna Mae, Girl, and Willis Asbury (my Grandfather, b. April 11, 1889 in Texas; d. June 23, 1942 in Stockton, California--have Death Certificate).
Willis Asbury Southern married Ollie Pearl Higgins in 1915 in McAlester, Oklahoma (she was born there January 26, 1895 and was 3/4 Cherokee Indian--have death certificate). Their children were Carl Willis (my father), Edna Pearl, Arthur Marvin and Ella Ruth (or Ruth Ella).
Carl Willis Southern was Born December 11, 1916 in Sweetwater, Texas; died August 15, 1976 in Stockton, California (have birth and death certificate). He married Joan Ella Olsen on September 7, 1947 in Modesto, California. Their children are Randy Arne, Sandra Lynn and me, Pamela Ann.
I have come to a brick wall on finding any information on my ancestors.
