Michael Sommerfeld, born 1836 in Posen
married Pauline Schulz in Posen, she died 1889, is buried near Carmine (La Bahia) in Washington County, Texas.
He married Emilie Busse 1891.
He died 1910 and in buried in White Union Cemetery near Carmine.

He is found on the 1880 Washington County census so in this country by then.

Henry, born 1870, died 1962 in San Francisco area.
Julius, born 1873, died in Washington County, 1924
Gus, born 1880, Washington County, married Bertha Behnke 1902(my paternal grandparents)Bertha died 1935, he remarried Emma Knuppel Naumann, 1937.
