MRS. JAMES (PAULINE SOKOL) KEEFE, JR.
FEBRUARY 14, 1913

The death of Mrs. James Keefe, Jr., of Chicago, better known to most Plaindealer readers by her maiden name, Pauline Sokol, formerly a Chatsworth girl, occurred in Chicago on Friday (Feb.7) last, death being the result of lung trouble with which she had been afflicted for a number of months.
Deceased was the oldest child of Simon Sokol, of this city, and resided here for several years, attending the Chatsworth schools and later clerking in the store of Bushway & Co. She was 27 years, 7 months and 16 days of age at the time of her death.
In addition to her husband to whom she was married about seven years ago, a former Piper City boy, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Keefe, of that place, she is survived by one daughter, Margaret, her parents, five brothers and two sisters, as follows: Harry, Otto, James, William, Cyril, Agnes and Gertrude.
The funeral services were held on Monday, interment being at Mt. Carmel cemetery.
The deepest sympathy of the friends in this community goes out to the bereaved husband motherless little daughter, and other relatives, as the early demise of Mrs. Keefe removes from a life of usefulness, a young woman of beautiful character, esteemed by all who knew her.
