My name is Ed Fitzpatrick and I live in Lincoln City, Oregon.
My mother's maiden name is Sohler and her grandfather was Gabriel Sohler who moved to Oregon from Wisconsin. There is a lot of Sohler History in Washington County, Oregon. My aunts, Julia (Sohler) Moran, now 90, and Dorthy (Sohler) Tupper (dec.) did some research on the Sohler Family History
in about 1987. Gabriel would be my great grandfather. He built a lot of barns in the area. I've seen two of them. I was hoping to get a picture of them but haven't as yet. I know one was torn down a few years ago and I can't seem to locate the other one as I haven't been in that area (except for today) in about 15 years and I live over 100 miles from there. I just recently got interested in Gabriel and have some interesting stories about him that were written by my aunts, his grand-daughters that I could share with you if you are interested.
