It is good to be back in touch. I still do not see a “smoking gun” for the name George. The only references I have to a George is his son born 1759 who was a Rev war vet and came across to the West in about 1780. The constant reference to our 1729 bloke as Johannes tends to make me think he was a John and not a John something else. Dear friends, Melvin Pierce and Baker Meek, and several cousins also survive.<br>Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Tuesday, July 28, 1998 at 1 p.m. at the Harpursville Baptist Church, Cumber Road with the Rev. Michael Rowe and the Rev.
