Peter B. Sober was the son of George
Washington Sober Sr. & Sarah
Marsh, aka. Sally,
Salome Mersch. He was the youngest of their 13 children, born in
Hamilton Twp.,
Monroe Co., Pennsylvania (I do not have a birth date for him). I have he died in 1863 - my aunt contended he died at Gettysburg, but that may not be so if you have documentation for Clear
Creek,
Virginia. He married Christina
Flyte on 26 Dec 1851 in
Hamilton,
Monroe Co., Pennsylvania.
I have information and documentation of sources for this family. Peter did have a sister,
Sophia (child #12), who married Philip
Flyte on 25 Dec 1851. I believe we have a definite match.
I would be happy to share information with you. You may be able to fill in some blanks for me.
