In my search for my ancestors I have only found two Snadon families, one of whom owned slaves. The slaves had took the indian name. William Snadon came to Bridgewater Virgina in 1739. His son George moved to Todd County Kentucky around 1791. His son William moved to Pemsboro, Missouri in 1832. One of the slaves married an indian. You can write to

Classification: Query
Surnames: America V. Shyrock
My great-great grandmother was America Shyrock. She was
a full blooded cherokee indian. She was believed to be
born in Virginia or Indiana. She died in Posey County
, Indiana in the early 1900's. I am trying to find as
much info on her as I can and I would love to know if you
have any more info. Isabelle may be related to America.
Because the Indian rolls were damaged from this time...I
have found it hard to find any ancestors.

Thanks, Dawn
