I am looking for help tracing BMD details for Walter Snadden and his wife Maria who travelled to Burma via Calcutta in 1842 on the "Elizabeth Jane" which sailed out of Leith.
Walter was born on 25th December and lived in the Edinburgh area, but the year is unknown.
Maria's maiden name was thought to be Gordon.
Their son Walter Gordon Snadden married a burmese girl Theodora Daw.
After Walter's death Maria married Alexander Cook on 18th June 1864 in Montmir. She is thought to have moved to Paignton, Devon.
Any help would be appreciated.
