Piotr(1872-1942) is in the 1920 Census, he is listed as Peter Smiecinski (it's spelled wrong all over the place), he is married to Antonina. He came to the US in 1890. Looks like he was in NY for a brief time as his oldest daughter was born there in 1898. Then, he was in Philadelphia for the rest of his life. When this census was taken, my grandfather, James (Zigmunt in the census) lived with them, he was 14 at the time. Piotr and Antonina had 5 children living with them at the time! I haven't found an earlier census, yet! I have also found Peter and Anna in the 1930 census. If you find this entry, my grandfather is listed on the next page, he was 25 at the time and is now listed as James. How the Polish names get butchered!! As he got older he went by Smith rather than Smyczynski. So Zigmunt Smyczynski became James Smith ;)
