I found these clippings in my father's bible. He died in 1983. The clippings do not have a date. I belive they are Weld County, Colorado.

Ronald Smock Ronald D. Smock, 41, Grover, died Thursday, July 23, as a result of a farm accident near Hereford. He was born Dec. 28, 1939, to Carlyle and Elsie (Martin) Smock at Grover. On Aug 27, 191 he married Karel Fritz at Pine Bluffs, Wyo. Smock grew up at Grover. He was graduated from Grover High School in 1957, and the University of Northern Colorado in 1963. After graduating, he taught at Crawford, Neb., Edgemont, S.D., Fleming and Ovid. He returned to Grover in 1979 where he was a teacher and a coach at Grover High School. He also coached summer ball. He was a member ofthe Grover Community Church. Survivors are his wive, Karel of Grover; a daughter, Carmela Smock of Grover, four sons, Dean, Tim, Curtis and David, all of Grover; his parents, Carlyle Smock of Grover, and Mrs. Elsie (Smock) Martin of Greeley; a sister, Carolyn Jean Branigan of Albin, Wyo.; four borthers, Donald and Alvin, both of Grover, Corky of Flagler, and Melvin of Red Oak, Iowa, and his grandmother, Mrs. Mollie Hamlin of Greeley.Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Grover Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Ronald Smock Memorial Fund in care of Adamson Mortuary.

Friends who wish may give to the Ronald Smock Memorial Fund, in care of Adamson Mortuary.
