Looking for more information about George M Smith from Pennsylvania. Married Effie Ort in 1897 and fathered 5 daughters. After Effie's death in 1915, it is said that he was too heartbroken and left his daughters with family (in Mifflin County, PA ) and moved to Philadelphia and remarried.
Possibly moved back to Lewistown in late 30's? and eventually moved to Ohio where he died in 1943, possibly in a Salvation Army home.
