Following the story of Richard (Mug) Puffer (my 6th cousin) and Margaret Ann Bolton. I believe I've found Margaret's resting place in the Walker Cemetery, Welsh, OK, next to her 1st husband Richard. While I was initially sympathetic to Margaret's long and ultimately unsuccessful legal battle to gain recognition in the Cherokee Nation, now I am inclined to believe that she wasn't Cherokee after all. Kudos to the previous posters who have done all that research, I am in awe and would love to hear more.
