Minerva Kinnamon/Kinnaman of Madison Co. IN

Who are Minerva's parents?

According to the 1850 Madison Co. IN census she was born ca 1813 in TN. I assume that she married Daniel Smothers in Madison Co. as his father is found there in 1830. They had come from Greene Co. TN. Marriage records were burned in Madison Co. at the time they would have married.

There are several marriages between these two families. I believe that the census taker made a mistake on the 1850 census when he said that she was born in TN, but I am not sure. They named two sons Zachariah and Corydon as did the Kinnamans.

I have never found records for Daniel and Minerva after the 1850 census. In 1860 I find their six orphaned children living with various families in PARKER CO. TX. It seems that John Baker the husband of Daniel's sister, Eve, ended up taking them to TX. Eve died somewhere in 1856. But, were the two families traveling together for Minerva's family to end up in TX? John later married Daniel's dau, Nancy, as his second wife. John and Nancy moved to AR, but the rest of her siblings stayed in TX.

Any help would be appreciated.
