Can you tell me anything about your Geo. W. Crain who married Caroline Smallwood? I am looking for more information on the Crain/Crane family who lived in Uniontown, KY. There was a George W, b. in 1855, the son of George W. Crain and Susan Barrow. The elder George W. was born about 1823 and moved to Union County from Livingston County

George W. Crain was born in 1855, son of Stephen and Eliza (MILNE) Crain. I have George's birthplace as Missouri. Stephen's father was Jeremiah Sparks Crain. I'm in the process of moving and don't have all my files, but know a lot of Crains did settle in Kentucky
