GILPIN TWP. WOMAN DIES AT 70 YEARS
Mrs. Mary Jack, 70, a resident of Gilpin Township for the past 31 years, died in her home last evening at 8:50 o'clock. She was the widow of Charles A. Jack. Death followed a lingering illness. Mrs. Jack was born July 30, 1879, in Parks Township. She was the daughter of Levi and Priscilla Baker Smail. She was a member of Leechburg Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include four sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Mildred Baker, Gilpin Township; Mrs. Jay M. Bodenhorn, Apollo; Mrs. Hosea Wilds, Bethel Township; Mrs. Harriet Kunselman, Gilpin Township. Herman G. Smail, Kittanning, and William, Finley and Walter, all of Gilpin Township. Friends are being received in the funeral home at Second and Main street, Leechburg, where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. William Sullivan, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Forks Church Cemetery.
