I am looking for information on Mary Lape. She was born 20 November 1799 in Maryland to Jacob Sloop and Catherine ?. She died in Cincinnati Ohio 6 Jan 1867 at age 68 and is buried in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. She had at least two sons: Jacob S. Lape married to Amanda J. Rockwood, and Benjamin Lape married to Catherine F. Scott?. I believe she is the sister of Hiram Sloop but have been unable to prove the relationship. Any information on Mary, her husband, and family greatly appreciated.
