I am looking for a William A. Sloan b. SC 1797 married Cassander Hammett of Spartanburg, SC. Found on AL (Madison Co) in 1850 and 1860. (spelling is Stone). Cassander shows up on the TN Davidson Co. census in 1870 and 1880 as a widow. Any ideas????? There is a Wm. Alymer Sloan in Spartanburg, SC but he married an Eliz. Rector.
