There is a Sloan-Stratton-Chapin family bible transcribed c. 1931 for the Michigan DAR that links a number of Sloans whose relationship has been otherwise undocumented. I am transcribing some of it here because as far as I can tell, no one else has referenced or posted this. I found it Monday while searching for ancestors of
Olive Sloan Lyon (1784-1863). Anyone who believes they may be related to this family and checks out the link should keep reading ahead, as there is information about
Dewey ancestors several generations back.

Dewey, and Susie M. Buried at Forest Hill cemetery, Ann Arbor.
