The first family, Isaac, is likely a brother to Samuel.
Isaac "MAY" be my 3rd Gr -Grandfather, but it is unclear as to how my 2nd gr grandmother and Isaac are related. In 1870, Isaac is listed with daughter Matilda BUKER (also listed as BUCHER, BUCHERT, BUCHARD in various sources), who later married Benjamin Franklin BITLER, my 2nd Gr-Grandfather. I have photos of both Matilda and Benjamin Bitler.
Obit for Matilda is as follows:
5. Matilda R Bitler Obituary (Reading Eagle, Reading, PA, Feb 1, 1923). "DIES AT GIBRALTAR // WIFE OF MANAGER OF SEYFERT FARM PASSES AWAY // Gibraltar, Feb. 1 Special) -- // Having resided for the last 37 years on the large Seyfert farm of which her husband is the manager, Matilda R. (Buchard), wife of Benjamin F. Bitler, succumbed to diabetes at her home on the premises where she lived so long, aged 68 years, 2 months and 22 days. She was a native of this section and she has been a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran congregation here. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Clayton, Irwin and Harry, and one daughter, Annie, wife of Benjamin H. Blood, all of this place. Funeral Monday, Feb. 5, from the residence at 10 a.m. with brief services there and further exercises at St. John's Church where interment will be made. Rev. Corson C. Snyder, pastor of the Shillington Lutheran parish, will officiate." Photo: Mrs. Benjamin F. Bitler.
I would be interested in anything you have on this family and ancestors.
