I have gotten a story that may be in other Sleight members family.My
gg grand mother Elizabeth Sleight born 1831 and died 1872 in
Washington County,NC.Married Joseph Warren Blount of Washington
County,NC,Lees Mills Township-1857. The story that was handed down,
Elizabeth Sleight visited her family every summer in Long Island,New
York.If anyone has a story like this in their family history,please
let me know.If any members of the Sleight family would like some info
of the Blount line,I have a lot and would be gald to share to add to
the history of the Sleight family members who are connected.Thank
