Ooookaaay! All I know is that (a) I paid the fee, sent in my spit and participate in AncestryDNA, and (b) AncestryDNA returns DNA matches based on my DNA sample and the DNA samples of other participants, and (c) those matches include (amongst others) the following surnames: Pope, Slaughter, Bolton, Underwood (all of these are my grandparent's last names).
