My 3rd great Grandfather George A. Slate was a recent of Baltimore City, Md during the late 1800's. I believe he married twice, once to Ann McKerr (deceased 1843) then to Catherine Robinson, I find him intermittently in newspapers and city directories, but I can't find him in any of the census' between 1840 and 1880.

Any help would be appreciated.
