I thought this might help as well if you decide to call Slovenia:

Step1: Determine what time it is in Slovenia. Slovenia is 1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time, which means it is 6 hours later in Slovenia than it is on the East Coast of the United States, and 9 hours later than it is on the West Coast.

Step2: Remember that a hodgepodge of languages, including Slovenian, Serbian, Croatian, German and Italian, are spoken in Slovenia. Luckily, most people working in the tourist industry speak at least some English as well.

Step3: Dial 011, the international access code.

Step4: Dial 386, the Slovenian country code.

Step5: Remove the 0 from the beginning of the city code. The code for capital city Ljubljana is 061.

Step6: Dial the remaining digits.
