Your are quite welcome. Also of interest to anyone connected to the Slaubaughs of Preston Co., WV: We have a family reunion the first Sunday in July, every year. It is held at the Mountain Springs Shelter house on Rt. 24 in Horseshoe Run, WV which is just south of the WV line on St. Rt. 219. My grandfather grew up in the house up on the hill above the shelter. The pavilion sits on land donated by Bill Slaubaugh. There is a small white church, no longer in use, right by the road in front of the shelter house. This is all about a mile south of Silver Lake and on the opposite side of the road. People start arriving at about 10:30 but most don't get there until after church. We eat at 1:00. It is covered dish, so we never know what we'll have but it has always been good. After dinner there is a meeting, some games for the little kids, volley ball, baseball and horseshoes for older kids and adults and plenty of time to visit, share pictures and stories of our ancestors. We stay as long as we want. There has been a band the last couple of years for the teens. We have had relatives come from as far away as Hawaii. There is usually about 100-150 there. The next day after the reunion, I try to get up to Aurora and visit the Historical society. The lady that is there most often is a cousin of mine. (probably yours too!) Maybe we'll see you there some year. Claudia

Every now and then I run my name thru a search engine to see whats out there and haven't checked this link in 10 or so years, glad I did today.
Granddad's grave is listed on find a grave dot com. It would be nice if you would leave alittle something about him, I would but know so little about him.
Will try and get to a reunion as i haven't been to one in over 20 years.
