My father was born in Luthuania in 1923. He escaped WWII with a brother, (Allen) and one sister, (Sima.) They emigrated through New York and settled in Chicago. Allen died in 1954, the year prioir to my birth, and Sima emigrated to South Africa; my father never seeing her again. Rubin passed away, a cancer victim, in 1997.
As rare as this name is, the family is as small.
