Sam and Ida were my grandparents too. I am assuming by your last name Jason is your father - and your grandfather was Roy and sam and ida were your great grandparents. Sam was my grandmother Ida's second husband. I never knew my mother's father and always considered Sam my grandfather. I loved him every much. They lived in Flatbush. He passed away in 1973.
