This is an uncommon surname. Please email me if you have any Skjoth/Skyoth family from Denmark. rebeccanoelleeevans@gmail.com

I have the DNA of a great-granddaughter of Jess Pedersen Skyodt/Skjoth (1861) (anglicized to Scott in the US), who lived in Iowa, California, and Nevada in the late 1800s.

Bio here: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSsr=41...;

The preliminary Danish research looks like his father was Iver/Even Jessen Skjoth was born 17 July 1832 Nustrup, Haderslev, Denmark.

The paternal grandfather would be Jes Anders Schjoth; paternal grandmother: Anne Kirstine Iversdr Gaarde, both of Denmark.

We may be different branches from the same unit family.

Thank you!
