I have been going through my Skipworth files and can not find any of your family names within my family. But, I would like to see if our families connect somewhere. My line runs: Richard Skipworth/Skipper, b.1777, S.C.--d. 1850, Ill. & Sarah 'unknown'; James Bonaparte Skipworth, b.1806-07, N.C.--d.1886, Tenn. & Mary Ann "Polly" Rich; George Washington Skipworth, b. 1832, Tenn.--d. 1914, Tex. & Laura Susan Vaughan; George Ambrose Skipworth, b. 1865, Ky.--d. 1957, Tex. & Tanie Bell Upchurch; Charlie James Skipworth, I, b. 1896, Ky.--d. 1923, Tex. & Gertrude "Gertie" Bay Jay; Charlie James Skipworth, II, b. 1924, Tex.--d. 1988, Tex. & Mida Elizabeth Massey (my parents).
