I have an ancestor named Feliks Skibicki, b. 1870. He was either from Male Radowiska or Poznan. His parents as listed on his marriage record are Albert Skibicki and Mary Reshowsky. He had a brother named Jozef, b. 1873.

Feliks came on a ship from Glasgow, Scotland in 1892 and came to Ellis Island and lived in Haverhill, MA / Kennebunk, ME. He did go to and from Poland on German ships from Hamburg in order to visit family.

Let me know if you have more info. Feel free to check my public tree for more info.
I do happen to know that with the Polish accent, the Skibicki name is pronounced Skebitsky. My great grandfather's birth record has that as his surname.
